Props are used to modify the practice, making it accessible to all. A certain level of mobility is required
This is an energizing, dynamic, yet slow flowing modified Astanga style class. Explore Sun Salutation sequences and various postures focused on breath, alignment, and relaxation. Students are encouraged to modify their practice accordingly. Bring yoga mat and blanket. Please register early and review health concerns with teacher before class.
Restorative Yoga helps re-balance the nervous system and creates a space for tranquility and peace. Through mindful relaxation we passively release muscle tension and reduce the effects of physical, mental and emotional stress. Students are supported in reclined postures using props like bolsters, blankets, and blocks to faciliate a deeper relaxation.
